Updating the driver for the graphics may change the available options.

It's a pretty poor program if it can't work with 24 bit screen colour depth, as generally, 32 bit is purely to get word orientated memory addressing in the graphics card memory, actually using only 24 bits but filling a 32 bit memory word to avoid split memory accesses.

Lowering the resolution may be an option, though, the only common resoultion that may have an issue is 1280 x 1024, which would allow 24 bit in 4MB graphics memory, but would not allow 32 bit.

If the graphics are onboard, then allocating extra graphics memory in BIOS may releive that issue.

If nothing else works, you may have to consider a new graphics card. 24 bit does tend to be the mark of older cards without memory to waste on a 25% overhead. How to change the screen resolution to 32 bit?
Well i don't think their is a solution to this problem. If your computer does not have the capability to have 32 bit resolution it may have to do with graphics cards. I recommend getting a newer computer.

(Try these settings: Screen resolution 1024 x 768. Then see if you have 32 bit option [Probably wont work but its worth a shot.])
It's possible that your screen doesn't support 32 bit.
Only know that my windows xp gives 16 and 32bit as choices
