Run your Anti-virus, and Anti-spyware programs. Then restart your computer. It could be a virus of some sort.

I try running CoD MW2 and each time I close my game my screen changes back to 1600x1024 resolution each time. How do I change the drivers for this monitor to the LG drivers that I downloaded from the website (The CD wont let me pick an option for Windows 7) and so that it wont change resolution each time I run anything so it stacks at 1900x1200.I got a 23 inc LG W2361VG monitor and the resolution keeps changing each time I run a full screen app.?
Personally I have never played CoD. But there ought to be an ';Options'; menu. Go there and go under video/graphics and choose the resolution.I got a 23 inc LG W2361VG monitor and the resolution keeps changing each time I run a full screen app.?
you need to change the resolution settings inside the game

Changing my resolution to one not listed?

I want to change my screen resolution to 1600*1050 and I have 1600*1200 and 1440*900 as settings, but not the one I want. How would I go about changing it to what I want it to be?Changing my resolution to one not listed?
You can only have certain resolutions, I'm afraid, as it's based on what your graphics card is able to support.

How do I fix my screen resolution without going into control panel?

Okay, for school we have laptops. Now, while playing diner dash, i shut my laptop and when I opened it back up. My screen resolution was changed. It's really small. Control Panel on my laptop is blocked so does anyone know how I can change this? It's really fustrating %26amp; also do you know how to turn off the monitor %26amp; stop it from going into sleep mode(whatever mood is the equivalent to shutting the laptop) at a certain time? this would be greatly appreciated. How do I fix my screen resolution without going into control panel?
you need either an admin to change the display setting or yourself if you are an admin.

I doubt the control panel is blocked. No controls are offered that do that. so...try in opening control panel like this:

go to start menu, click on RUN and type there control.exe

    then click on OK

if it doesnt open it will tell you why by giving you a message. make sure to write that down so we know what the message says. typically your control panel could be disabled by a computer administrator who setup that laptop. we need to get it enabled and ensure he doesn't know you have enabled it so you wont get in trouble. but i will tell you that the next time.

    all the best for now

    1.)right click on your desktop

    2.)go to properties

3.)a screen with the title named ';display properties'; with tabs at the top should show up

    4.)go to the very last tab labeled ';settings';

5.)in the lower right corner of the box there should be a screen resolution area there u can change the screen to higher or lower resolutionMy screen resolution is all messed up. How do I change it back to the way it was?
you have to go into your options during game play and change them to the size you want.

    example: 768 x 1068
You shoul go to Control Panel - Desktop and change your screen resolution there.

Hope it solves your problem ;)
Go to your desk top. Click the mouse pointer on the desk top (not an icon), using the right mouse button, select SETTINGS and change it to some of the other settings.
If all else fails, do a system restore back to a date when you know the resolution was correct. This tip works for WinME and WinXP.
Go with the first answer... some people don't pay attention to the actual question... you have to change the resolution during the game. All the options are in the menu when you hit ESC during the game.

How to change Dell Inspiron E1705 screen resolution?

I'll be quick with the story...

I lent my computer to my friend and he played some type of game that changed the resolution of my screen. Now, when I go in and try to switch my resolution to a size I can handle it will not let me due to the fact that the font is so large I cannot access the 'Apply' button on the bottom.

I have tried to change the computer back to factory settings. Everything goes back except my screen resolution.

Please help. I am sick of this enormous font. If I keep it any longer I am bound to get use to it. So, eventually when I do get normal resolution... I'll need glasses. How to change Dell Inspiron E1705 screen resolution?
If the fonts are too large on a web page in explorer%26gt;%26gt;use Ctrl + or - at the same time to get the correct font....if it is in all windows....go to properties of the video display......right click on the empty desktop%26gt;%26gt;Properties%26gt;%26gt;settings%26gt;%26gt;screen resolution and get it to the proper setting for your machine....using the slider bar

Good LuckHow to change Dell Inspiron E1705 screen resolution?
lol!! just right click on desktop, then go to personalize, then go to last option, ans change ur resolution there.

    Hope it helped!!!
Use the page down/page up button on your keyboard.

or move the properties window up onto your screen
Do you have a scroll wheel on a mouse plugged into your portable? If you do, hold down the Ctrl key (bottom left of keyboard), and scroll the scroll wheel on your mouse away from you one click. See what it does to the display... do it again until you are comfortable with the display. It works in this window quite well, lol, I tested it to make sure it was changing before suggesting it.

    Good Luck!

Now that i have my screen resolution to 1024 x 768, how do i get the color back to normal because its low?

Ok, I changed to Screen Resolution to 1024 x 768, I really need help getting the color back to normal, bacause it looks black and white now %26amp; once i changed the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 it also changed the color quality to low (8 bit) so I need to know how to change the color, please help...ThanksNow that i have my screen resolution to 1024 x 768, how do i get the color back to normal because its low?
Actually, you need to click on start %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Display %26gt; Settings %26gt; Color Quality. (Sometimes when something doesn't open right away, right click and a pop-up appears, select Open)

Generally, once you get to Color quality, there is a drop-down menu that you access by clicking on the little down arrow in the Color Quality box. Then just select the level of color you want.

Hope this helps and good luck. Now that i have my screen resolution to 1024 x 768, how do i get the color back to normal because its low?
right click on the desktop and select properties. Then go to the Settings tab and change the color quality.
right click anywhere on ur desktop, go to properties, choose settings tab, under color quality choose highest (32bit)
You cant. It depends on your graphics card and monitor combination. You'll trade color depth for higher resolution and vice-versa.
