I recently re-installed my OS, Windows XP for a Dell Laptop, and my screen resolution just isn't the same. It's a wide screen monitor, and it seems like it's projecting for a smaller monitor. I go into the adjust screen setting and set it to it's maximum, and it's still not like it was. The highest is 1024x768, but it was higher before I re-installed the OS. right click somewhere on the desktop and go to properties. then choose the display tab and change the resolution from there
